Accomplishments

Being Approachable and Present in Community

Regularly shows up to community events, supports local businesses, and advocates for the wellness of everyone who lives in District 14 and Milwaukee County
Building Bridges and Nurturing Relationships

Makes space for people at the table and has built a reputation of being a collaborative, solutions-oriented leader across different levels of government
Investing and Activating Parks

Secured money to clean the lagoons at Kosciuszko and Mitchell Parks, renovate Kosciuszko Community Center, resurface the Walker Square playground, and activate each park with community-led events
Leading the Charge for Language Inclusivity

Led the charge in passing and implementing policy to make all public information from Milwaukee County available in English, Spanish, Hmong, and other languages upon request
Supporting Economic Stability for Families

Eliminated $67 million of birth cost tax for 50,780 families and influenced other counties to consider ending this outdated practice for their residents
